I recently stayed at Aekkeko Hostel for a few nights while exploring the area. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and even booked our onward travel for us. The hostel had a cozy dining area where we could enjoy a DIY breakfast with eggs, bread, and fruit available. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, and the staff went above and beyond by offering extras like sun cream and hats. The location was perfect for exploring, with plenty of opportunities to meet other travelers.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Well maintained and conveniently located. Reasonably priced with a satisfying DIY breakfast. Pleasant aroma throughout. Friendly staff provided helpful advice and even cooked breakfast for me while I waited for transportation. AC worked great and the room was comfortable. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Aekkeko Hostel. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town center, just behind the market. the interior design of the hostel was impressive, with clean and cozy rooms and beautiful bathrooms. We felt right at home thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, especially Gogo who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the communal areas were also great, with cooking facilities and a delicious breakfast offered. Cons: Nothing not to love!

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The renovated old town house provided a charming and convenient location, surrounded by cafes, boutiques, and a fresh market. The entry area with the book corner, reception, and kitchen was welcoming and cozy. The hosts were friendly and always available to chat and offer travel tips. Our private room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, desk, and ample storage space. The shared restrooms were clean and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. The overall cleanliness and newness of the hostel, along with its great location, made it a standout choice. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even organizing transportation for us at a lower cost. The hostel also had some cool and quirky details, like a large hammock bed for lazy evenings with a beer. I would highly recommend this hostel for its warm and helpful staff, excellent location, clean rooms, varied breakfast options, and great vibes.

The AC in the room was excellent and created a comfortable atmosphere. the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms could be improved, as there were some hairs around. It would have been beneficial if the staff gave more information about the local area upon arrival.

I recently stayed at Aekkeko Hostel for a week-long vacation in Thailand. The hostel's location in the heart of the old town made it easy to explore all the important spots on foot. The friendly and helpful hostel team made me feel right at home, and the spacious and clean rooms provided a comfortable stay. The interior design added a nice touch, and the complimentary breakfast was a great start to each day. I especially appreciated the assistance they provided in getting to the bus station with my luggage. it was one of the best stays I've had, and I highly recommend this hostel.

I stayed at Aekkeko for one night before heading to the airport. The old building and private dorm were clean, quiet, and spacious. The hostel is located in a nice, quiet area of the old town and offers great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Phuket.

I had a romantic escape at this hostel and there were a few things that I liked. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. the location was great, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants just a short walk away. Lastly, the hostel had a cozy and charming atmosphere that added to the overall experience of our romantic trip.
There were a couple of things that I didn't enjoy. the rooms were quite small and cramped, which made it difficult to relax and unwind.

The location was perfect for me as it was situated in the old Phuket town, away from the bustling crowds of Patong beach. It was also conveniently close to all the piers for my island hopping adventures. The hostel was within walking distance of the Airport bus station and local markets, making it easy to explore the area. The girls dormitory rooms were clean and comfortable, with well-maintained public shower rooms and restrooms. The availability of a laundry machine was a great convenience, and there were always plenty of food, drinks, and fruits stocked in the fridge. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, providing a friendly atmosphere throughout my stay. a great place to stay for a memorable experience.

Very cozy and well-designed with comfortable beds and clean shared showers. Perfectly located for exploring the center of Phuket on foot. Breakfast included with a nice variety of options.
